Hi,

Did you finally succeed and if so, how?

I noticed that Century Keys came with Music Studio or Music Studio 2, but do not show up in Samplitude Music Studio or any of the Music Maker versions. I tried copying all of the files over and SMS asks me to pay. I raised this with Magix and I'm waiting for a reply.

As far as I'm concerned, all instruments that came with MMM or MS or SMS should work in all of these programs. I haven't done a detailed check of this.

Have you had this problem?

No luck yet browi2... but you gave me a tip!  I will check on all my previous installers to find it.

Thanks!

How about you, any luck?

Hi,

Yes, I did succeed with the support of Magix. In my case and as I mentioned, I received Century Keys with Music Studio and Music Studio 2. It was not included with 2015 or with any of the Samplitude Music Studio versions 2013, 2014 and 2015.

The trick is to first make sure that the original is still installed then find and copy the "Century Keys.dll" to the VstPlugins folder of the other Music Studios or Samplitude Music Studio. This was the destination for MS2015:

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Music Studio 2015\VstPlugins

Use the similar folder if using Samplitude Music Studio.

Then open MS2015 (or SMS) and add the path to the above folder. Century keys then shows up on the instrument list.

I tried to copy it over to Music Maker without success.

Hi,

Did you resolve this yet?

I found that I had Century keys in MMM2014 Premium and I hadn't noticed. It was uninstalled when I installed MMM2015, but not everything under ProgramData was deleted.

So, I just copied the folder from 2014 to the same place under 2015 and it worked.

Source:

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Music Maker 2014 Premium\Synth\Century Keys

Destination:

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Music Maker 2015 Premium\Synth\Century Keys

One other thing to try would be top copy the folder under:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\MAGIX Services\MxSynth

and then create a shortcut under:

C:\ProgramData\MAGIX\Music Maker 2015 Premium\Synth

I noticed that Magix did this with many of the other instruments.

Please let me know how you made out.
