My setup is as follows MSI gf63 8rc laptop, Tascam us 1641 interface, roland td15 drums, novation launchkey 49 midi controller, Mackie CR3 monitors and MMM 2020 Premium. I have installed the drivers for the tascam, and i can record through it. The problem that i am facing is if i cant hear the drums when i try recording. i can only hear them on playback. I set track one as an old mp3 recording i have of my old band. and then set track two for audio recording, i'm coming out of my td15 drum kit with 2x 1/4' instrument cables into ch 9 and 10 on the tascam 1641, my output is set for 3+4 on the tascam. I can hear track 1 the backing track perfectly but no live monitoring of the drums. I should mention that i'm using my head phones not my monitors coming out of output 3+4. If i move the headphones to the headphone out on the front of the tascam i hear the drums but not the backing track, so its reversed. Any ideas? i have set all of the seting where they should be,,. i think.
