Little red line that moves across video as it plays

I have Movie Edit Pro 2014, the little red line that moves across video as it plays, to show you when it is at in the video, no longer moves. The video plays just fine, but since the red line no longer shows me in the edit section, where it is at, destroys my ability to edit a video, I have to guess where, in the movie it is at, move the red line there manually, in order to clip, what sections to delete or add transitions. Usually where Magix Move Editor malfunctions, such as when the sound quits playing, I have to fix it by uninstalling Movie Editor, go through all my files and delete any related to Magix Movie Editor, then reinstall it from scratch. I tried that this time as well, however, it did not fix the problem.

One of my close cousins passed away and I needed to make a Memorial Video for her and the family, It really sucks that Magixs has no way of contacting technical support or someone who could help fix this.

@Lyle-Hodges Hi, you can upload pics using the arrow button next to the smiley at the top of a new comment,

Movie Edit Pro 2014 sounds like Vegas but you mention Magix a lot so a full screen picture would be good 👍

@Lyle-Hodges

Hi,

Try pressing on the double-headed arrow near the bottom right of the timeline (Optimize timeline). This has often worked in the past.

If not, let me know and I'll give you another possible solution.
