linking mixer tracks is it possible?or even something that could added

so in flstudio you can link mixer tracks is there a way of doing this in magix? if not is it something that could be in the future?

so i watch alot of youtube videos of people useing fl studio, now ive looked at that DAW and tbh it seems very complicated and i find it very confusing, however i often see them link mixer tracks.

now i often while useing MMM2020 will cut up samples and use 3 or 4 tracks to make a new sample its something i find easer as im still quite a novice at doing this and then struggle to get all tracks to sound right ie useing para eq on all tracks and getting them the same is something hard to do.being able to link he tracks and use a separate track to eq would make the prossess much easer.

not sure if this even possable for magix to even add tbh and im no developer.

I don't think you can do this in MM. You can do this in Magix Samplitude Music Studio though. Like me it sounds as if you have invested time and money in Magix so you might want to look at Samplitude Music Studio. Samplitude Music studio is worth having as you can now use the same instruments that you have in MM and it's far superior in what it can do particularly in relation to editing objects.

hmmm may have to look in to that then, maybe though thay may eventuly add this to MMM though

I think MM evolves .. slowly because I suspect the target audience is for casual music makers.

I have Samplitude Music Studio and the primary reason I got it is for the instruments and 64 bit VSTs. However, for what you want to do right now I use a different DAW completely called Mixcraft - that's the one I would look at if I were you- it has some sampling functionality far superior to what Samplitude Music Studio has and the ability to use Live Pads - similar in concept to MM but not limited to specific soundpools and the software is easier to use - no nasty surprises.

Hi

. . . . flstudio you can link mixer tracks is there a way of doing this in magix . . .

As @RaveyDavey says you cannot 'link' mixer tracks, however if I read your post correctly, you want to be able to apply the same effect to several tracks then see this tutorial.

Although it refers to the Mixer in Movie Edit Pro, the Mixer in Music Maker is the same and the method applies.

not exactly what i was thinking but thanks anyway, however i was looking at help in the program and found the manual lol typical bloke never reads the manual lol.

anyway found a bit on the mixer and yes its posible to link mixer tracks, you have to hold ctrl and click the tracks you want to link and then the sliders work as a group however im unsure if its a permanant link or just a quick one will have to let you know im also unsure if that links all fx on the linked tracks.

Hi

It is not a permanent, ie not saved, and is very easy (IMO) to accidentally ungroup and does not do what you asked ie:

. . . . then struggle to get all tracks to sound right ie useing para eq on all tracks and getting them the same . . .

That is what the 2 FX channels are for - enabling 2 different effects to be applied consistently across multiple mixer channels.
