I recently posted about the "Buggy Mess" that is Sound Forge 12.
I've never been a fan of Sony and wasn't impressed when they bought Sound Forge from Sonic Foundry but while support was, in typical Sony fashion, horrible, the software was solid.
So: I thought maybe I'd upgrade 12.1 to a more stable, less crap build but?
Our efficient German overlords have saw fit to hide what, if any, revs of this software are available.
I can find NADDA.
Online it says there is 12.6 but those are crack sites (where I think I may get future versions of this since Magix obviously isn't worth my cash! It took MONTHS after Sony sold out to them to be ALLOWED to re-download the installers for SF and Vegas which I had bought and had HAD working licenses for!!!
Sony had a listing of all versions of the software I had and I could pick.
These control freaks won't allow that.
All there is, is one choice: A downloader exe (which triggered my virus software) and it will download a massive file that is perhaps the same 12.1, maybe newer?
Who knows?
