I just upgraded to SF Pro 16.1.3 Build 68 and it crashes when I use my plug in chains. 16.2 did not do this. I still have 15 on my computer and that works. But I am paying for a monthly subscription for the most up-to-date product. Please advise
Noise reduction, Graphic Dynamics, Graphic Equalizer, Wave Hammer, Noise Gate. I click the link that says "Apply plugin chain." The same exact chain worked flawlessly in 16.1.2
@Jimrin, I created a chain in the order you stated: Noise reduction, Graphic Dynamics, Graphic EQ Hammer and Noise Gate.. it did not crash on my Win 10 PC. Though it was not stated if Noise Reduction (NR-2.0) was 32 or 64 bit or if it was the legacy Wave Hammer. That is not to say SFP-16.1 is OK though and I cannot use it with the on-going issues. Fortunately, SFP-15 works good.

NR 2.0 64 bit and legacy wave hammer. I can run each individual task without problems. Only when in the chain does it cause issues. I updated Windows and all drivers with the same results. And yes, SF 15 works fine. But I pay a monthly subscription to have the most up to date product. It should be expected to work. So there needs to be a fix, a new update very soon, or a refund
As I stated, I could not duplicate the chainer behavior, with the same plug-ins and in the order you posted.. at least with Win 10.. I do not have a Win 11 PC to check it on. Many users (me included) are using SFP-15 You could ask Magix for some kind of restitution, I would not expect much, since you can still use SFP-15 365. Some users with the perpetual version of SFP-16 reported they were given a SFP-15 serial so they are not totallyside lined.
It should be expected to work. So there needs to be a fix,
Fo' sure. IMO, Magix should roll back to SFP-15 and start over with SFP-16.
i can't reproduce this issue either...not with the plug-in chain from the insert menu or via the fx plugins > apply a plugin chain option. there are plenty of other issues for sure, but i can't reproduce this one on windows 11 or 10...but if you need a rollback to 15, submit a ticket, that's no problem, and it will help you avoid other issues as well.
So here is an update. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the software. I tried upgrading Windows and all drivers, all with the same results. I rebuilt the plug-in chain with the exact same functions and exact same settings and that worked.
