Keep the cursor in the middle of the screen and have the audio scroll

For Sound Forge Pro 12, is there a way to position the audio in the middle of the screen and have the audio scroll past it from right to left? I'll listen to the audio and stop it to make a change, and it would be nice if the part I want to change is visible just to the left of the cursor. Alternatively, I'd at least like to know how to have the program jump to where the cursor is when I stop playback instead of jumping back to where the cursor was before I pushed play.

Not sure I fully comprehend what you desire but, the cursor position behavior can be changed in, "Options> Seek cursor on playback". Furthermore the timeline can be expanded or condensed incrementally in a number or ways, the most convenient for me is usually the Up/Down keys. (BTW, the Shift + Up/Down incrementally zooms the waveform in/out) The center cursor command is in the Edit menu or keyboard shortcut: Num+ \ , or just the \ key . You can also place icons in toolbar for most of the commands as well. "View> Toolbars> Customize".
