Comments johnebaker wrote on 2/15/2016, 3:17 PM Hi You should not need to - MMM should recognise the controller when it is plugged in and then MMM is started. I would be interested to hear what the controller is like - it is a make I have not seen before. John EB Dr_Funkenstein wrote on 2/23/2016, 8:42 AM Hi John. Keyboard seems ok. Didn't realise it was full size keys though so it's a bit bigger than I thought it would be!!! Nick. johnebaker wrote on 2/23/2016, 1:45 PM Hi Nick That is true, however you do have the advantage of a full 5 octave + 1note range whereas a 49 key controller has only a 4 octave range + 1 note. This does save using the octave up/down keys for those moments you need that extra bit of range. At the moment I am considering getting a Yamaha keyboard which can also double as a MIDI controller. Cheers John EB Dr_Funkenstein wrote on 2/23/2016, 2:55 PM Hi John. I think it clinched it for me when you mentioned shifting up/down octaves. My disability is in my arms so anything which offers ease of opperation is very welcome. Thanks John. Dr. Funkenstein (thought it sounded better than Spasticus)!!! 1
