IZotope Neutron 4 Mix Assistant

kariv wrote on 6/7/2022, 6:33 AM

When I use Neutron 4 and Relay plug-ins for features like Masking Meter, Visual Mixer, and Mix Assistant, the track names in my DAW (Samplitude Pro X5 Suite) aren’t pulled into the plugin. So it is impossible to work with Assistant, because you don't know, which tracks you are using.

IZotopes Answer: "The track naming feature in Neutron and Relay is specific to DAWs that support this functionality. DAW manufacturers have to intentionally make this functionality available for us to be able to use it."

Does anyone know, if Magix is solving the problem?

@kariv

On July 30th, 2021, I gave the following reply to an earlier post you made:

Are you aware there is a dedicated Samplitude Pro forum? Since I suspect there are very few users of Samplitude Pro who visit or post in this Magix forum I would strongly recommend you register at and repost your question to that Samplitude forum

The advice is still exactly the same today as it was then. The Samplitude Pro forum is at https://community.samplitude.com/. Please repost there.

Thank you. Unfortunately I haven't been yet able to sign in the forum. And even not now.

@kariv

When you attempt to register at that forum, what happens?

Now I could sign in after I changed password. I opened a new topic, but could not submit it. When I pushed "Submit" -knob, submitting began, but never finished.

@kariv I can tell you now, that this feature will not be added to Pro X5 because it is out of support. Maybe for Pro X7, but I think that is unlikely if it needs a lot of coding work.

Thank you. If I had known the problem, I had not bought the new plug-in.
