I just tried a 4.34 GB .avi file and got into the send it to the server stage without complaint. I suggest you try for yourself.

Well personally speaking I think that uploading anything within 2GB is fine. When you export the video, it is advisable to do it in the Web format instead of HD1 or HD2 or WMV.
