is there a way to visually show the audio spectrum as my video?

i record my own music and rather than making a video of just a picture with my audio, it would be nice to show the audio spectrum(waveform, eq, bars, etc) on the video. it was hard for me to look this up because i didn't know exactly how to word the question.

here is an example of what i mean:

this youtube video actually provides an adobe after effects file for exactly what i'm looking for.

Not in MEP however Bikergsx uses an audio visual program - Aeon Visualiser -  to create effects like this.
