Hi Kenny,

You didn't indicate which version of MMM, year and Premium or the regular version.

In any event, try help, F1, and search for Video and look at what you find.

Yes, you can import video and score it, but it depends on the video format.

In the manual there is a section on video which states "MAGIX Music Maker 2013 can load and export videos in the following formats: AVI,Windows Media (*.wmv, *.asf), MAGIX Video (*.mxv) and Quicktime Movie (*.mov)."

I suggest that you read the manual to fully understand how it works.

A couple of pointers, be careful with the video import parameter so that MMM does not change the length of the video to try to fit it to a default beat. Turn off the following setting under Settings, Video: "Automatically adjust videos to BPM during import: With the available BPMinformation you can automatically create a video in which the rhythm and order ofpictures are synchronized. This does not play all frames of a video, but some areexcluded according to the BPM setting on frame playback. The video appears faster ata higher BPM setting; it "dances" to the rhythm. The tempo can be set before everynew arrangement in the transport control. Otherwise, the arrangement applies theBPM tempo of the first sample that is loaded."

Use a small size format (lower quality ) to avoid memory problems.

Enjoy!
