I have Movie Edit Pro MX loaded and have just bought ME Pro 2013.  Do I need to keep MX now or can I uninstall it

Thanks for the first answer.  I guess what I am really asking is whether MX is as good as 2013 and whether it is worth keeping or does 2013 do a lot more (and better) that MX

Hi

You do not have to uninstall MEP MX.  MEP2013 will install in its own folders, and you can point the project filepath settings to the same drectories as MEP MX if you want to edit any projects originally created in MX.

John.

Hi,

I agree with John, unless you are really tight on disc space, you may regret uninstalling it if you need to work on previous projects created in MX.

Thanks for both of the answer received so far.  I have been using ME Pro for some time now and am very pleased with it.  I will now keep ME Pro Plus MX loaded just in case.  Will have to upgrade my computer now as it is getting a bit long in the tooth and starting to go slow.  Also read on one of the chat lines a recommendation to upgrade the hard drive to at least 2GB now and have minimum of 8GB Ram installed to really make it all fly.
