Is movie edit pro 17 plus planning on fixing the youtube logging in problem?

It appears that since Youtube was taken over by google, I can no longer upload a video using the export "upload to internet" feature.  I spent hours last night trying different user id's and passwords, no luck at all.  I then started getting emails from YouTube that somebody was trying to log into my account.

I then went directly to the YouTube site and was able to log in, so my login credentials were correct, there is a problem aith Magix.  I was finally able to upload my video manually through the YouTube site.

Is Magix going to fix this?

I'm using MEP 17 Plus and don't plan on upgrading just to solve this problem, for all I know, any later versions have the same problem.

Hi

. . . . MEP 17 Plus and don't plan on upgrading just to solve this problem . . . .

The issue was caused by Youtube changing the uploader software (API) which MEP used.

MEP 17 is no longer supported and there are no further updates for this version available.

. . . . for all I know, any later versions have the same problem. . . . .

MEP 2016 works OK with Youtube

To continue using MEP 17 for videos for Youtube you will have to export the video from MEP, in a suitable format for Youtube, and use the Youtube uploader.

Further to John EB's reply, and as I have pointed out in this Forum and in my tutorial on getting started in MEP, one should always export, view, and correct, if necessary, before posting. Too often something stupid shows up in the export and I would rather find it myself than have others tell me about it.
