I installed the 2020 version of Music Maker from the 2019 version and I cannot activate the instruments I purchased from before. They show up with a lock and I click it and it says to put in the serial number and when I do nothing happens. How can I get my instruments that I bought.

Hi and welcome to the forum
Log out of the Store, restart Music Maker, and then log back in again your instruments should then be activated, any Instruments etc not yet installed should be available for download/install in the Downloads tab that appears next to the Store tab.

Welcome to the Magix forums.
Can I just check that you have gone to Help>Activated content and checked that the serial key for earlier versions of MM you had are listed there?
If not, on the opening Splash Screen, select the "MAGIX Account" tab and you should see this:
Make sure the area I have blanked out, top right, shows your registered email address, and then enter the serial number(s) for any missing version of MM, click "Activate" and the missing content should now be available to you.
