Installing AP10 / uninstall AMS11

So, I just won a license to Acid Pro 10.
I have Acid Music Studio 11 installed on my system from before.
My question is; should I uninstall AMS11 before I run the Pro-installer?
Are there any known issues related to having both installed, and what are they? Or, if I should uninstall AMS then what level of «cleaning» do I need to do? Will just running the default uninstaller suffice, or should I use a program (Revo) for it with the detailed cleaning of systemfiles etc?
Any input on this would be much apprecciated!

I've used earlier versions of AMS and AP together on the same PC without issue. There shouldn't be any issues with the later version. As AP10 is 64bit only, and (if i remember correctly) AMS10 is 32bit only, the only thing I can recommend is that you make sure any 32bit and 64bit plugins you use are installed in to different folders that you add to AP10. AP10 DOES support 32bit plugins, but generally it's better if you use the standard 64bit versions of plugins if available.

edit: AMS11 has a 64bit version, so maybe the part above about plugins is not relevant if you were using the 64bit version of AMS11. :)

I use the 64b version of AMS11, but thank you! Then I'll go ahead and install Pro. By the way, are there still issues with mp3 on AP10 like there is AMS11? Where beatmapped mp3's are not being rendered properly in the timeline visually, or how should I describe it? Pretty sure it's a known thing, so maybe you understand what i mean?

I'm aware of the issue you're referring to. It was fixed in AP10 a while back. I use MP3s almost extensively in AP10 and used to see this issue all over the place, but not any more.
