Installation Question-How many computers?

Hello;

I am a long-time-ago user of VProX in various versions; I'm thinking about "coming back to the fold" and buying a subscription to VPro X14. One question I can't seem to find a clear answer to is this: on how many computers am I allowed to install the program? I expect that I can't use it on more than one computer at the same time, and will likely mainly use on my home desktop system but I also travel occasionally and want to be able to edit videos on my laptop while I'm away from home. Does this violate the EULA?

Hi,

Why subscription?

I think that you are allowed only 1 computer for a subscription but it could be two.

For non-subscription (new or upgrade), you can have VPX activated on 2 devices at the same time. You can deactivate one to add another one (third, fourth).

Since you already had VPX, you qualify for the Upgrade price.

As @browj2 says you can have the program on as many machines as you wish but only two can be active at once (with the non-subscription version) but you could be limited to changing an activated machine to once a month per activation key.

I am with John on subscription but due to you getting access to additional content, if you are a YouTube creator you may still get copyright strikes as the material supplied would need an additional licence for use where a profit could be made from using the content. Even then it can go back and forth trying to sort out copyright strikes even with having the correct licencing.

I am also not sure how many copies of the subscription version you can have.

Thanks to you both for your response. I have purchased the subscription version and have determined that 2 computers can be activated on the subscription. I'm looking forward to my first project. Thanks again.

"the subscription can only be used on one device at a time."

Trying to confirm this once again "on the other side" :)
