Installation prompted an upgrade which I already had

I was receiving messages from within the MMM app for weeks saying there was an upgrade available at 92% discount, so last week, when I clicked on the link I was asked to pay approx $43 AU which included a delivery of a backup DVD, and then today I tried to download and install that upgrade.

The result was: I got a popup message saying my current installation was the same or newer than the download.

Does anyone know how to check the download/upgrade history for the Music Maker program in windows 11? All I have found, so far, is a receipt MMM 2021 Premium upgrade from August 2020 when I paid $121.17 AU. I was thinking maybe I forgot that I already installed this one, but there is no record of me doing that atm.

@Eleyan

I don't know of any method of checking one's download history when it comes to MM updates, sorry!

If you go to Help>About Music maker, what version and build does it say you have? The latest (2023) version number is 31.0.3.26 so your 2021 version number should start with 29.

@Eleyan

Hi,

Does anyone know how to check the download/upgrade history for the Music Maker program in windows 11?

Not for W11, but I don't see that it makes any difference. What you have is clearly shown on the startup screen.

The version is shown at the bottom. V31.x.x.x is Music Maker 2023. The program is free, Editions are not. I upgraded the program to Music Maker 2023. See my tutorial on this.

I don't have Premium Edition 2023, only 2022, 2021, etc. So, obviously, if Premium Edition 2023 shows up, you already have it.

Thank you both, I am upgrading to the Beta version, as I was also getting the odd freeze happening since the last update (whenever that actually was).
