Installation errors VCRUNCHTIME140.dII, MSVCP140.dII

Music Maker free version - I have tried install and uninstall, different locations and devices, with and without updates. But each time I get popups with the errors VCRUNCHTIME140.dII not found and MSVCP140.dII not found. I can get through the installer, but I can't open the application proper.

How on earth can I run the free version of Music Maker?

Can't find the version number, but its the one on currently on the website:

@Lance-McKenzie Your Windows installation is incomplete. Try downloading and installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 (vc_redist.x64.exe for a 64 bit system) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

@Lance-McKenzie

Hi

In addition to @SP. comment - I would suggest you check your Windows installation is in a 'clean' state.

Follow steps 3 to 11 in this tutorial.
