Installation

I had downloaded the audio cleaning lab, or attempted to maybe, which took me to a site when i clicked the button to a site called cnet.com, not sure if it's legite or not, but anyways, it seems that it goes through the whole installation process, but when it says it's finished, nothing else ever happens, so i go into my folder on my computer than the file goes to, and when i click on it again, it does the installation process all over again, then again does nothing else, then i'll click on the application it says that it the file is too big or something like that, or that it's not compatable with my computer, now if you need my computer info, it's a Dell Laptop with Windows 7, it's an Inspiron, right now I was just trying the free trial, but I am planning on buying it after Christmas, assuming anyway that I get some Christmas money, but first I need to know if you all can tell me, which one best suits my comp.

Thanks,

Corey

It seems on Magix web there isn't trial version of Audio Cleaning Lab.

In short Cnet.com is not Magix, it is a place from where people download software, read reviews/comments and watch videos. If you look at the download tab which is in green color it will say CNET Installer Enabled. In my experience it install downloader first then after clicking will install the software or as in thiscase  "CNET Installer Enabled" we do not get exe installer of the software rather CNET installer.

To avoid problem you have faced, go to an other place Sofpedia, link is given below, click on External Mirror 1 exe. your download should start or read the online guidance.

Size/OS:   207 MB / Windows XP / Vista / Vista64 / 7 / 7 x64  (as per sofpedia web)

http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/MAGIX-Audio-Cleaning-Lab-Download-112420.html

Note: I have just guided you please proceed to download if you want to.

Hi

To add to what Nihon94 said - download from the original source - why use a third party that also installs 'extras' on your PC,  which you do not need, when you can get the software direct from the manufacturers ie at www.magix.com

The trial download for ACL MX (the latest version) is here

http://www.magix.com/gb/free-download/

for the UK or here

http://www.magix.com/us/free-download/

for the US.

Scroll down the page to find it.
