@rachel-t

Hi

Which version of Music Maker did you try to install ?

If it is Music Maker 2021 then this is not supported on Windows 7. The minimum version of Windows supported is version 8.

Try disabling your Antivirus Real time protection/Ransomware/Protected folders feature and run the installer again.

I've got Windows 7 and it half installed did not complete, as a consequence I cannot uninstall it either! Stuck in a viscious cycle

Hello, Welcome

As @johnebaker asked you, what version do you have of Music Maker?

You could try the free version of Revo uninstaller to remove product here.

The free version as I wanted to try it out first!?!?

So I have to download something else to uninstall it? How bizarre!

@rachel-t

Did you go into control panel and click "Programs" uninstall programs and click your free version to uninstall?

Yes I did. But it comes up with an error saying unable to remove product as there is an installation

But there is no installation running

I emailed customer service and they have sent a reply that directs me here

@rachel-t

There are many users stuck with software in windows that will not uninstall and many used the Revo uninstaller, its free and worth a try at least to sort out your issue.

I now use Revo uninstaller all the time.
