I've installed Music Studio (2021) on new computer - used correct serial and email but keep getting error message when registering "invalid serial number" I've tried with and without the P The programme is still installed on my old computer - no other installation. Both systems running Windows 10

Do you mean Music Maker 2021 which is forum section you have posted under or Music Studio?
In either case check that you are using the correct serial number for the product you are trying to activate - you should have this in the email confirmation of purchase, and copy and paste the complete serial number including P3 ,and all the hyphens into the activation dialog?
Additionally if the program is Music Maker and it is already registered on another computer then you only need to log in to the Store to activate the new installation.
