@Paul-Henderson To make sure you installed everything correctly, let's repeat all steps. You downloaded the installer from the Help menu in Samplitude? You ran the installer? You ran a VST scan? You loaded the plugin on a track in Samplitude? You opened the plugin user interface? You saw a message to download and install the independence library content? You downloaded and installed the content?

Paul-Henderson wrote on 9/2/2022, 6:20 PM

All that is correct, except it would not install or find Independence Libraries

The system cannot find the file specified.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\MAGIX Services\Independence Libraries\RegIndBundle.exe

@Paul-Henderson Are you using Independence inside Samplitude?

Paul-Henderson wrote on 9/2/2022, 7:36 PM

Yes, no files in browser

Paul-Henderson wrote on 9/2/2022, 7:40 PM

when I try to reinstall it does a repair and I get this message

@Paul-Henderson Instead of repairing, have you tried to completely uninstall Independence? Do not just run the installer again, uninstall Independence from Windows Apps and Features.

The library should be installed via a small window that opens if you load the Independence VST. It asks you if you want to download and install the library.

The library is added under Preferences > Libraries. You can add an instrument of the library to your layers by adding a layer first, then clicking on the layer. If the Independence library isn't listed in the layer menu click on the rebuild option.

I'm not sure if Independence 3.6 in Samplitude comes with the RegIndBundle.exe because it's not a standalone+plugin version (which is version 3.5) but a plugin-only version. I can check my computer tomorrow if the exe file is there.

@Paul-Henderson

Hi,

Did you download the library? 70GB?

This or another of Kraznet's videos may help:

@Paul-Henderson I checked my computer. The files are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\MAGIX Services\Independence Libraries and C:\Program Files\Common Files\MAGIX Services\Independence Libraries

As you can see on the screenshots, all files need admin rights to run. So make sure your user account has sufficient privileges.

The content installer independence.content.exe is located under C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\MAGIX\Independence\VSTPlugins64 and C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins\MAGIX\Independence\VSTPlugins32

You can run it manually if you don't get the pop-up window asking you to install the library. It also needs admin rights to run.

I also found the standalone files under C:\Program Files (x86)\MAGIX\Independence But I'm not sure you can run these without a separate Independence Pro Standard license.

I have none of these library files only the workstation the library files will not download. I've emailed support to see if i can download the library independently. thanks for all your help

SP. wrote on 9/3/2022, 8:58 AM

@Paul-Henderson Maybe there is some problem with your firewall/antivirus blocking the files from installing.

Paul-Henderson wrote on 9/3/2022, 8:48 PM

I checked. I disabled both and no go. I've been on to support and asked if I can download it as a separate file. God willing that will work😕
