I must state immediately that I am NOT a Mac user/owner so have no idea if/how that security message can be bypassed, but you do need to be aware that Independence Pro has not been updated since about 2017, I think, and it is entirely possible that more recent versions of the MAC OS are not fully compatible with it!
I think you need to email infoservice@magix.net and ask for their assistance. Clearly, it may be some days before you receive a reply, unfortunately!
Thank you for your response! I tried downloading the "free" version through "https://www.magix.com/us/music-editing/free-download/independence-free-sampler-software/" and for some reason, that downloaded without any errors, however I wasn't able to put my premium license on it, for whatever reason. I'm really confused as to why this seems to only be occurring when MONEY should mean WORKY(and not brokey). Thank you emmrecs, i appreciate the response regardless.
@christopher-h5120 I don't use Mac but I would guess it's the same as in Windows where the files get quarantined first instead of instantly deleted so you can reinstate them manually afterwards. So, you need to look up how to do this on Mac OS.
In case the browser is blocking the download, you can usually force to download the files.
Hi. Fellow Mac user here. I wish I’d seen this post before I purchased. I’ve got exactly the same problem. It's a shame because I've used a version of this software in one form or another for a number of years (going back to when it was still badged by Yellow Tools).
Ironically (and somewhat inexplicably), the free version of the player does install on my M3 system without problem but it won't accept the serial for the Pro Premium Suite.
I’ve submitted a ticket asking for a refund if no fix is available as I’m not able to install the player and sadly, that will bring my years of using this package to an end.
