Hi

. . . . where has the Object Automation function gone? . . . .

Nowhere - it is still on the Effects, Automation menu or right click the audio object as in previous versions.

If using the menu option you have to select the object first for it to become active.

Thanks, but it's not there. Either on the menu or the context menu (object selected or not). Very odd...

That is odd !!!

Looking back at your previous question and your answer below - there is one obvious one I should have asked - are you running Windows 10 which was upgraded from 8 or 7 and MMM 2015 was installed before the upgrade?

Nope. I just spent a year testing 10 and in my honest opinion, it's flat, ugly, unfinished and annoying. I don't have it on anything but one of my laptops... My MM2015 was bought from Magix on a deal for MM plus soundpools 19 and 20. I've had no end of problems with it though (especially on 10 - although running it as Administrator solved a lot of them), but I've got round most of them that matter. I was just doing a bit of production work for a friend when I noticed that object automation was gone.  even checked MM2014 and there it is. Regardless of whether I'm using a Magix object or a third party one, the option is nowhere to be found. I was fearing that Magix had just decided not to included it for some weird licensing reason or something, but then you said it was definitely there, so that's not it. I don't know why or even how it could be removed from the menus...
