I have only the german issue.

But when it is similar than you should have at the "mediapool" first "Import" - than "titles" (or transition) next is "transition" (or titles ) and at last "effects"

To clarify your question-

The 'Transition Button' is as shown below when a transition or fade between objects has been applied. Note - either term tends to be used although this is strictly incorrect.

In the Mediapool you have a Fades tab which contains the Transitions (fades) as shown below
