Importing Loops from Producer Planet

I just picked up Magix's humble bundle and started playing around with Music Maker. I've been enjoying it so far but have came across a peculiar issue. I bought a handful of collections from the producer planet site, however, there are a few of them that don't want to work. They don't show up in the downloadable section inside of MM, nor does it find them if I manually download them download them from the website...are they broken or did I do something wrong? The ones that don't work are created by "ACID".

Other

Other loops will not appear in the same way as Magix loops because they don't have the information to do that. You have to find them from the file manager tab on the right hand side. Acid/acidized loops are a Magix product but I'm not sure if the additional info they have gets in the way of using them in other programs.

They didn't show up in the file manager when I looked there, so I don't think that works either. 😕

The other question then is does Music Maker support 24 bit audio or 96khz audio? Magix loops are 16 bit/44.1khz audio.

It seems to support the audio files as they place when I drag and drop them from my folder into the arranger, although that kinda defeats the purpose of having collections if they won't load into the loops section of the program.

I guess I'm a sucker for buying stuff that I can't use, but it would have been nice to know before buying that not all loops are supported natively. There's nothing on the website that says otherwise.

If they load from the file manager that's all you can expect. This is how other programs work. You can't expect Magix to somehow magically to have a way allow the myriad of loops from a myriad of producers to load into the loops section including the non Magix loops on Producer Planet. The loops are still supported in the same way any other program would support them.

This is my first time using a music making program so I have no other experience with loops. From what I understood, Producer Planet is the store for Music Maker so I assumed that everything sold on it would load into the program collections. Opening each track individually from the file browser every time you want to pick a loop or change a pitch is a terrible experience...if that is how other programs support them, I'm surprised people use them.

You don't have to open each loop. Just like with Soundpools clicking on a loop in file manager makes it play so you see if it's one you want. Having all your loop folders in a place like the Music folder makes it little different to checking loops in the Soundpools/loops section. It's just they aren't split into groups like they are with soundpools.

I should clarify that I mean my OS's file browser. The File Manager tab in Music Maker doesn't recognize the loops.
