I purchased samplitude music studio 14 from micro center but it is not supported by windows 7 - what do I do

That version is only functional for the operating systems that are listed on the package. I think that would include Vista, but not Vista 64. The Music Studio line changed to just Samplitude (to match the professional package), which is now on version 11.5. That is Windows 7 compatible.

I would think the guys at MicroCenter would know that though, they are extremely knowledgeable guys.

I am not sure what you can do about your purchase, you might as MicroCenter.
