I never got a solution to my 'sound out of sync' problem. I like using Movie Edit Pro but can only use it for short productions of 12 mins or less. Does the newer Movie Edit Pro 2013 guarantee a fix?

video and sound are out of sync in burned disk

Your question refers to… Movie Edit Pro

The sound (voices) and video are ok in the raw footage and are ok in the preview screen, but when the

DVD or Bluray disk is burned, the last 20 minutes of a 55 minute video has the voice and video out of sync.

Using Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus HD with a Dell Studio XPS 9000,  Intel 960 processor, 12 gig ram, and Win 7

Ultimate, ATI Radeon HD 5770 1 GIG.   All else in the editting process seems to be ok ie menus, edits, etc.

Tried burning at a slower speed and higher bit rate and in two different burners, but same problem.  No sound

card, just audio in mother board.   Any ideas?

Thanks, JohnnyO, but I had already applied the patch.   Just to be sure, I installed it again, but the problem

of out-of-sync audio still exists.

Sound sync issues were a problem with MEP17 when it was released. This has been fixed in a patch.

Make sure you are running the latest version.

Go to Help->About Movie Edit Pro.

The latest version is 10.0.11.0.

If you need the latest patch, go to Help->Online Update.

An alternate wy to get the patch is from this link:

You need to have a registed copy to get the updates.

To any members responding to this question please post your answers in the original topic found here

@john626

If you are responding to a previously answered question and the suggested fixes have not worked - please post again in the original question.

Users can then follow the thread of what has been tried.  If you have not received any further answers in the original thread - then either no one has an answer or cannot reproduce your problem.

Also do not copy and paste an entire thread into one question - it makes the thread very difficult to follow.

I have tidied up the question.
