I'm wondering if there is a Music Editor in Magix 2014 for Windows 8.1.

I have Magix Music Maker 2014 for Windows 8.1 and i can't figure out how to take out background noise on voice recordings. I had Magix Music Maker 11 Deluxe and it had the Music Editor where i could clean out the voice recordings real good. But, i can't find anything like that on this new Magix. If anyone has an answer for me, please feel free to email me at email address removed by moderator  Thank You.....

Hi

. . . . I had Magix Music Maker 11 Deluxe and it had the Music Editor . . . .

It is still there in MMM 2014 - right click the audio clip and then select the options shown below or press Ctrl + Shift + M

Thanks for the input. But i don't have that option. I have everything else in the picture you displayed, except the "edit in external editor" option.

Hi,

If you have MMM2014 basic version, then you likely don't have Music Editor. I believe that it only comes with the Premium version.

You can check by going to see if you even have the MusicEditor folder under:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MAGIX\Music Maker 2014 Premium\MusicEditor

Do you know any other way to Dennoise background noise on vocal recordings thru basic 2014 version? And where do i look to Master my work.....

Hi,

Sorry, no. I have the Premium version and I also have Magix Audio & Music Lab which I use rather than Music Editor.

As for Mastering, again no. The mastering suite is only in the Premium version as far as I know. You may want to consider upgrading to the latest Premium version. If you do, ask Magix for a discount for upgrading.
