I'm only able to hear MM audio when I use my speakers.

As I said above, Music Maker only produces sound when I have my speakers connected. If my speakers aren't connected, the built in audio doesn't work, and even my headphones (which I'm currently using and know they work) don't work with it. I've tried to look around in settings to see if Music Maker needs to be manually changed to use another output (which would make absolutely no sense, but whatever.), but I haven't found anything. I set up Music Maker when my speakers were connected to my computer, so that may be part of the issue.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

. . . . Music Maker only produces sound when I have my speakers connected. If my speakers aren't connected, the built in audio doesn't work, and even my headphones (which I'm currently using and know they work) don't work with it . . . .

Is this a laptop and you are referring to the internal speakers not working when the speakers are not connected?

What type is the headphone connection - 3.5mm stereo jack, USB or Bluetooth?

What is the audio card/chipset in the computer - Realtek, Nvidia, etc?

These are my settings, for Music Maker 2021, that I use on my PC and laptop which have a Realtek audio chipset, and work with internal speaker (laptop), external speakers and USB and BT headphones.

Note if this is a laptop with internal speakers, these must be the default setting in Windows for playback. USB or Bluetooth headphones should be plugged in/connected before starting Music Maker

Yes, this worked! I greatly appreciate your help- I'm not proficient with computers, so not being able to find a solution was, while maddening, not surprising. Once again, thank you for your help in this matter.
