I imported a file onto magix movie edit pro 14 and it came in as all one movie file. I want to delete a few portions of the indiviual scenes but don't know how to seperate them. Is this possible?

First of all, I advice you to study your handbook. You also have a PDF-document of nearly 400 pages under C:/Program Files/Magix/MEP14/Manual/. And there is a Search function on the right side on this page.

Stand in Timeline, and move the red cursor to the cutting point and press T (cut scene). Move to next place and cut again. Now you can delete the scene between by marking it and press Delete. A 'black hole' occurs. Mark the clip to the right, and click in the A/B-mark, and click on top (Cut, (no fade)). Now the hole is filled. There are other ways of doing this too. (Click the triangle besides the Scissors symbol under the monitor to learn more)
Experiment with your file, you will never get it destroyd.
