You can then upgrade to Windows 10 if your computer is capable of running it  see here for more information - this is not compulsory and there may be issues - see the next paragraph,

The Windows 10 upgrade is known to cause issues with some Magix programs which means you have to re-install the program following this procedure

I would suggest, if you do not have one, purchasing an external USB hard drive and make a backup copy of your computer hard drive using a program like Clonezilla to the external hard drive before upgrading.

In the event of an upgrade failure you can then restore the computer back to Vista.
