I have several quetions

I am currently using Magix Edit 2016.  I am using Windows 7 platform and have plenty of hard drive space and ram.  The computer is only a year old.

1. I would like to upload to Create Space and need to convert video to an ISO file.  Currently, Magix has links to Vimeo, Facebook, and You Tube.  What do I need to upload to Create Space?  I tried the option of output as media player.  Do I need to use the Vimeo format?

2. I am also working on a film and have been saving edits to tk2.  The problem I now have is that the timeline will not accept the tk2 files.  They bounce out of the timeline.  Please advise.

3. Since I have been working with the tk2 files the  marker will not play from the spot of the up arrow.  When I press the up arrow the marker goes all the way back to the beginning of the film.  What do I need to do to correct this?

Hi

1.    . . . . need to convert video to an ISO file. . . . .

In MEP 2016 select the Burn tab, Burn button  - in the recorder box at the top select Image Recorder - this will create the ISO file for you

2 and 3 - check that MEP 2016 is patched up to date - the current version is 15.0.0.90.

NOTE: if you intend to make monetary gain from the DVD please be aware of copyright issues as detailed in the licensing conditions for MEP - see section 5 here.

Hi,

1. Why do you need an ISO file for Create Space? Is someone going to burn DVD's for you on this site? I thought it was a book publishing site.

2. Why are you using takes? Are you using these takes in other projects? If not, then there is no reason that I can see to make takes. I tested it with the latest patch for 2016 Premium, and I have no problem using takes or importing and using takes. Perhaps you could capture and post a video as to what happens.

3. Press on Y for Program settings, Playback tab, under Arranger, check the box under Spacebar behavior. I don't have it checked, I added some takes, and the playback marker goes back to where it started, that is, where it was placed before playing.

Hi

@John CB

. . . . Create Space? . . . . I thought it was a book publishing site . . . .

It is much more than that - it is a publishing site for books, music and DVD's with outlet through Amazon.

In the case of DVDs the user uploads an ISO of the DVD and artwork for the DVD case inserts and disc, CS then create the physical goods for retail and you get a percentage of the sales.

Funny you mentioning takes - I posted the same question but it appears to have been 'lost'
