I get a bad crumb notice on Sound Forge Pro for Mac

I just downloaded Sound Forge Pro for Mac. When I try to open the program I immediately get a "Bad Crumb" notice. When I click the OK button the program closes immediately.

@StebbinsG SoundForge will not work on Catalina and Big Sur. That's why you are getting the error.

Thank you. I couldn't find that information on their site, so I'm looking to uninstall the program and get a refund.

@StebbinsG Yeah, it is a little bit hidden on the specifications page.

You can write an email to shop@magix.net to get a refund. If the mail doesn't work try infoservice@magix.net.

There is a "sticky" at the head of this forum page which explains why SF for MAC cannot be run under any version of OSX from Catalina onwards. The sticky is here.
