I cant register my Movie Studio 16

Every time I try to activate and register it tells me my serial number is invalid. I just bought the software 10 minutes ago and I cant even use it. Can I please have a 1-800 number were I can call and get technical assistance. This is very frustrating. Or can someone please call me.
