Hi.

Video Saver 7 was made to run in Windows XP , Vista, Win 7 and Win 8. It will not work in Windows 10 and above so if you are on either of those operating systems you would need to upgrade not only your program but possibly your convertor as well. That I'm not overly sure about the convertor as I haven't used that product.

Out of interest, no-one owns any computer software. What you buy is a licence to use the software during its lifespan which is normally tied to the operating system it is designed to be used with. It has always been that way as the program itself comes under intellectual property right agreements. Whether you buy the product in a box with an installation disc or as a download does not change that. When you buy any software you should look at the end user licence agreement.

Ray.

Hi

. . . . Now I cannot download driver to run Video Saver. . . .

Assuming you mean the driver for the USB video capture device - see here for the latest driver - you would have found several posts pointing you in the right direction if you used the Search feature of the forum.

Do note:

If you are running Video Saver 7 on Windows 10 or 11 then it may not run correctly it is very old software and was not certified to run on any Windows OS higher than Windows 8.

Insulting users, who have responded, is not conducive to getting a help from fellow users and may result in further actions - see the Community rules 1 and 3, link is at the bottom of the page.
