Hi, I have this problem when I try to load sounde forge studio:

a) At the first time, the program load 0K.

b) Then, I close the program to finish.

c) When I try to load again, the program shows this message (see image attached)

d) Then, Windows 10 asks me to make changes in the system and I click on Yes. My system account has Administrator Privileges

e) Finally, the program does not load.

Please, could you help me?

Thanks a lot !!

What version of SF do you have?

These are classic symptoms of the Sound Forge/Win 10 update 'Elevated Privileges' issue. A registry tweak is one of the fixes for this chronic annoyance. Another fix is a complete uninstall, clean registry, then re-install. Another is enabling administration privileges in the compatibility properties, but the above mentioned window pops up each time SF is initiated, but SF does open.

See this Elevated Privileges' thread and heed the warnings about forking with registry entries.

I get this annoyance after just about every other Win 10 update with SF Pro 10. The only good part is, I can now perform registry tweak quickly w/o a cheat sheet.

According to reports, the primarily occurrence is with SF Pro 10 and occasionally with Pro 11 . I have read of a few instances of the behavior in Pro 11 as well as same AS versions..

SF 10 was a SCS product, so there will not be any updates to fix it.
