i bought vegas 18 pro. the description listed sound forge. why can i not launch sound forge? says i need a seriel number, but the one i got- says already used, (by me to activate vegas pro 18) and program wont run

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Sound Forge requires a different serial number for activation to the one you used for Vegas Pro. You need to check carefully the email you would have received from Magix, confirming the purchase of Vegas; it should have included both a download link and a serial number specifically for Sound Forge.

If the email does not include that specific number you need to email infoservice@magix.net and ask for the number to be sent to you.
