"i bought a beat online and it was a wav download, and when i click the right button it tells me what i want to open it with and magix does not show up. how do i upload a downloaded beat to magix so i can record to it"

Same as all of the other audio files - open the File Browser in MM and drag the file onto a track.

No, but dragging a wav file, or ogg file, or mp4 file onto the arranger is pretty basic, so I assumed that you are new to MusicMaker. I will eventually make another tut showing how to do more.
