I added a new track to my recording, then I added an object to it. I then deleted the object, but it turned up, invisibly, in every other track. How can I get it out of them?

In Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium the object was deleted from the track, and I also delted the track. But, the object sound showed up in all of the other tracks. And, it seems to be invisible. Is there a way to get rid of it from all the other tracks without having to scrap the whole song?

Thanks. :)

Hi,

I must tell you that I am very confused by your question.  What object did you place in the timeline that you deleted? Are you saying that once you deleted the object (whatever it was, it suddenly appeared on all available tracks?  I can see no way that this could possibly happen.  Could you provide a screen shot of this problem and please tell us what "object" you placed in a track that resulted in this phenomena occuring?

Good Luck,

George

Hey, thanks for answering. Yes, some of the tracks are audio, and some are midi. I have 14 tracks, and I was working on the last one which I added as a midi object. The object was Darkdesire Choir A in Orchestral in Metal Vol. 1. I decided I didn't like the object for this song, so I deleted it. Then, I saved the file. I opened it up again, and the Darkedesire Choir was still there, but the object for it was gone since I deleted it.

But, it was still playing as I played the song out. I moved all the tracks to see if it was behind one of the other tracks, and it wasn't there. I deleted all the tracks to see if it was there, but when I pressed play the sound of the object was still there even though there were no objects since I deleted them all. It's very strange. I hope all this makes sense.

I don't think a screen shot will do much good. It's not showing up anywhere.

Thanks again for answering. :)

I had a similar problem with a deleted object that I could not see but still heard - the only way I could silence it was to open the mixer and I saw that a FX track was there so I muted it.

Hey, thanks! I will try that. What I did was copy and paste all the tracks into a new recording. It was a lot of work, but it worked. lol

Hi, I know this problem was posted a long time ago, but today i bumped in to the same problem and ended up here after consulting google... So here is my solution:

I was surprised to learn an FX-track can also have an VSTinstument added to it, which leads to this kind of problem. Just open the mixer and double click on the FX icon (where there is your instument icon on other tracks) and then select No instrument. This corrected the problem for me!

Grtz!
