Humble Bundle $40 In-App Credit Voucher -Isn't one

Hello,

Recently purchased the "Humble Bundle: Your Sounds. Your Movies." Bundle. Among the offerings was claimed to be a "$40 In-App Credit" voucher. This code in fact is not that, but a $40 Off Any Sound Pool above $40 -seems to work for Commercial copies as well (a slightly redeeming fact). I feel a need to point this out, as purchasing the bundle was a purchase of what was stated to be in the bundle -and this item is not what it was stated, not what it should have been per the description. There are codes for in-app credit, and a spot to redeem them, but it feels like someone pulled a trick and I'm a bit disappointed here. Had it actually been a code for $40 in-app credit, it could have been used for say 1 instrument and a feature or toy instrument if it was actually a voucher for credit. Seems that's not the case.

Yes, it's a trick. You should not pay 1$ for a 40$ voucher. You should pay the full price for whatever you purchase. I'm sure Magix would prefer that. I'm being sarcastic, in case it didn't register. If you don't like a near freebie, then don't go for it. The expression is, "you don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

The HB site clearly says - read the last line - and I quote:

"Your $40 voucher code* gives you access to Soundpool Collections of all music genres: 80's soundtrack: Choose from more than 4,500 sounds & loops. Burning Metal: 4,000 sounds & loops packed full of energetic melodies. Urban Producer: Rough and full of fury. Work with punchy trap boards, smooth R&B tunes and beats from the golden hip-hop era. EDM Anthems: Strobes, glow sticks and good vibes. Euphoric drops, pushing synths and powerful basslines - create the next floor filler!

*Note: Valid for the complete Music Maker in-app store except labeled 3rd party instruments, Song Maker and Music Maker Editions until December 31st, 2020. Any remaining credit expires with the one-time redemption of a voucher."

Thus, select the item that is closest, but not exceeding 40$. You have until Dec. 31, 2020 to use the coupon, but only 9 more days to get it.

Actually, no. It is not letting me use it on any SoundPool under $40, isn't working on any instrument I try it on (all of them are $29.99, aside from the toy series), and can't be used on the features. Legit, it only registers on sound pools above $40.

@BMaps13

That is contrary to what this user says.

There are quite a few Soundpool bundles/collections at $39.99. Given my experience with Humble Bundles and what the other guy says, I have to presume that the voucher will work with these Soundpools, including those at $10.

For instruments, reread the Note above. Not all instruments are available for use with credits (or vouchers) and when you look at the details of an instrument for purchase, Magix notes the ones for which you cannot use credits (or vouchers).

this is where the loops unlimited comes in you pay a monthly subscription( here in the uk it is £14.99 ) to have access to all sound loops for 1month you just have to download & install,if you decide before the next month is about to be charged again you can cancel the subscription but be cautious you will lose access to those loops & songs made until you re-subscribe again..highly recommend it just make sure you've got a far amount of disk space as some loops are 100+ mb
