How to use behringer uca222 with mixer and mic using magix?

So I'm wondering I bought a behringer uca222 in the hopes that when I'd use it it would stop the crunching and the lagging when I play, make, record voice and music when I use magix. The crunching and lagging someone told me could be helped by using an external sound card with asio treiber. Now I've plugged everything in the right places and it still lags - is there a certain setting I have to change in order for it to work?

Check the sample rate of your mic - It should be set at 41,000 Khz, CD sampling in dual channel.

Hi

Have you installed the ASIO4All Universal Driver?

If not, do so, then select the appropriate device in the Record menu.

Make sure you download the driver for the uca222. I utilize the uca222 with Behringer 1202fx, The driver help BIG time.
