How to turn off loop preview?

@DonSound

The answer is nothing, and the world's default standard.

Which is what Samplitude Pro X does.

Music Maker has a different clientele, and I have to assume that Magix created the Smart Preview as a feature. I suggest that you raise a ticket with Magix to ask them for a way to still have the preview but with nothing happening on the timeline.

So, can anything that is intended for MM such as instruments and 'loops unlimited subscription' also be used with Samplitude Pro X?

Hi,

For Music Maker instruments, yes. Under Program settings, VST/ReWire tab, there is a checkbox to Search for Music Maker Store instruments in the active Magix account. They should show up.

As for loops unlimited, I have no idea. Same with plugins. You should ask Magix.

EDIT: After looking at the details on Producer Planet, Magix states that Loops Unlimited was developed exclusively for Music Maker.

You may want to take a look at the version comparison and details on the Magix.com site, and download and try out the program. Note carefully the differences. I have Samplitude Pro X8 Suite, so I have everything.

You may only want to get Samplitude Music Studio instead of the Pro version.
