How to tell in Music Maker if you have Royalty free license or not?

Undercover_J wrote on 12/19/2022, 5:26 PM

When i first bought Music Maker i used my free vouchers to buy some sound loop packs.

Since then i have been willing to purchase the royalty free versions. But how do i know in my library which is which after a format of PC?

P.S also is there way to upgrade previous loops in appi purchased in app store to Royalty free?

It's a law suit waiting to help - please could mods send this on to devs for immediate app update please, we would be so grateful. There could be a little crown in the downloads page of the music maker 2023 app. On the store page, after clicking exclamation mark to view details of the track or bundle, then an upgrade option added when check previous purchase for license version.

@Undercover_J The easiest way to see it is to go to www.producerplanet.com, then log into your user account and look under "My Products". The license is listed next to each loop pack. A price reduced upgrade is not possible, you need to buy the Soundpool again for the royalty free license.

Hi

In addition to @SP. comment, I would suggest your read the licensing terms very thoroughly and also read this comment regarding those licensing conditions and Copyright of your creations, these apply to anywhere where you upload your creations.

Hi,

All Soundpools are Royalty-Free. This is written all over the place. Just look at the details of any Soundpool in the Store.

The license is for the use of the Soundpools - Non-Commercial or Commercial. These are clearly stated in many locations. Please read the terms and conditions. They were even part of the installation process.

Select any Soundpool for purchase. Here is one of them - (this one is free right now). You already got this screen according to what you wrote. Read the line beside the arrow and the line after it. This text is with every Soundpool.

If you go to purchase it, then click on the ! for information about the license:

Here is the link.

Read "What’s the difference between “commercial” and “non-commercial” use?."

Unless you specifically purchase a license for Commercial Use, you have a license for Non-Commercial use.

To add to @browj2 comment -

'Unless you specifically purchase a license for Commercial Use, you have a license for Non-Commercial use'.

There is no difference between the Non Commercial and Commercial use Soundpool(s) installed, ie there is nothing to download if you are upgrade from Non to Commercial use.
