How to setup Magix Movie Edith Pro MX Premium?

I use a Laptop we Vision A8 Quad Core and AMD Radeon Graphics in W7, and I have issues during the cuts it jumps the special effects and during playback it stops too much, and its extremely slow.  How can I trouble shoot this? Can anyone tell me if its a set up issue and how to fix it...I've always had that problem with other systems and this one is a totally new computer and I'm facing the same issues.  Can someone help me?

There have been many posts on this topic - use the search box on the right and search for 'choppy playback'.

Can you post your complete laptop spec please and which version of Win 7 you have 32 bit or 64 bit.

Is the video you are editting HD and if so which format?
