how to separate 2 mike tracks recorded simultaneously on 1 sd card

Hi,

does anybody know how to separate two audio tracks that have been recorded on one sd card simultaneously? On my TASCAM DR-100MK3 I have attached two external mikes (a lavalier microphone and a condenser microphone) and have recorded them on a sd card inside my TASCAM. I would like to edit both microphone tracks separately. When i copy the recording from my sd card onto my computer and then import them into Samplitude, i can see both audio tracks on top of one another in one single track in Samplitude. Does anybody know how i can separate them?

This is my setup:

MAGIX\Samplitude Pro X4 Suite\Sam_x64.exe

Windows 10

Thanks so much :-)

Kate

@kate-m Try the menu File > Export > Mono/Stereo convert > Stereo Wave -> 2 Mono
