@Melissa-Strongin

Which version of Music Maker do you have? I note you say it is the Free variant.

"Saving" your MM project saves just that, the Project file. Assuming the free version includes this facility, you need to look at the options available to you under "File>Export>Audio as...".

Unfortunately, this free version does NOT have the ability to save my project as a wav file. There is nowhere to pull down a "FILE" tab to them export. Either it is not included in this trial version of Magix...or I'm not finding it. There is no task bar along the top of the app where normally a "file" tab with pull downs would be.

I had to left click the audio record button at bottom of my project. There, it's says save as a wav file and asks the destination. When I put my E drive as my choice, it actually still only saves it as a Magic project file....not as a WAV file like I need.

Please advise.

You should see a "File" menu. Try pressing F4 on your keyboard to reset the layout of the program. If this doesn't help then try exporting WAVs by pressing Shift+W or Shift+U.

Thank you, it worked, I'm still trying to save it in a .wav file

I went to file, export, audio as: which one do I select wav/adpcm or ogg/vorbis or Windows media audio
