You did not mention which version of Music Maker do you use?

Anyway, in Music Maker you can not completely remove music and retain vocals(voice). But if you use "Karaoke" Template you can reduce music from the song at some level only if your audio is in wav format with stereo recording.

Note: Please do not forget copyrights.

Hi,

You also did not mention where the song came from.  If it is from a mp3 of a commercial song, vocal removal is very hard because it can only really be done if the left and right tacks of the stereo mix are recoded at exactly the same level.  If it was your own creation and you have already mixed and mastered it, the previous also applies.  If you have the original tracks where the vocals are on their own track, just delete the vocal track and re-save it.

I am just having a little trouble understanding what you are trying to do as you have not been very specific.

Good Luck

Hi,

I misunderstood what you actully asked.  Vocals if they are center panned can be successfully removed,  instruments on the other hand are almost never center panned so it is virtually impossible to remove them from a audio track.

There are sites that allow you to download thousands of popular songs that were recorded by their artists.  You can download just lead vocals, just back up vocals, both  any instrument or a compination of instruments etc.

If you have a specific song in mind give me the name of the song and the original artist and I will let you know if and where it is available in this form.

Good Luck

Hi,

LOL I don't do this for points because I have no idea what the points mean.  I do it because I like to help.  Many people don't even click the thank you button.  I am happy when people write and tell me that the problem was solved.

Hi,

I would love to help you, but you can't seem to understand that what you want to do is very very difficult if not impossible.  There is software available to do this, but unless you buy it first, I have no need to do it, so I am not going to buy it unless I know you already have it.

I asked you twice now to tell me WHAT SONG YOU WANT TO DO THIS WITH.  Then you come back and say that now you want to remove background noise or music.  Well which do you want to remove?  They are not the same thing.  I can tell you very quickly how to remove background noise.  But I cannot tell you quickly how to remove music from the back ground and leave the lyrics or vocals behind without putting in some of my own money.

No one here works for Magix, and if you want me to invest my money, I need to know that you are willing to invest some of yours.  I create the tutorials on youtube as answers to people who are clear on what they want and are very specific.  Just telling me to send you a youtube link would be a total waste of time as I have no idea what you want me to tell you in that link.

Please, think about what you want to do, and tell me in 100 words what exactly you hope to accomplish.  Saying things like "remove back ground music or noise, beat etc, tells me nothing.  None of those things are related to each other.  They are three different questions related to three different topics that have three different ways to solve three different problems and you have not given me enough information to solve any of the three problems you say you are having.

Hey, since I decided to wait a couple of minutes and someone still hasn't posted a response I'm just gonna bump this and state my own purposes for asking on here.

1. I wish to make parody-like songs by using top hit vocals and creating my own/using other music (i.e. Wiishop Bling) a Hotline Bling by Drake parody.

2. I feel since it's been 2,905,383 minutes since last post there should have been something new by now.

3. Btw I just got most/all of the software from the latest Humble Bundle so I have no idea what I'm doing

Thanks for reading this and i hope that there's been some new updates/plugins that do this

@Bangdini  Welcome to the Magix forums.

You have resurrected a thread whose previous post was made nearly 6 years ago! Please do not do this. In order to prevent any further response from any poster I am going to lock this thread.

However, the answer to the question is still exactly the same as the very detailed responses in the posts by @gandjcarr in 2012! Feel free to start a new thread with your question but bear in mind that what you are wanting to do is akin to having a baked cake in your hands and wanting to remove and separate all the ingredients and have them back in their unbaked form, i.e impossible!
