How to rejoin / consolidate / merge / heal audio splits

Hi, all !

This seems rather funny - but the Audio Cleaning Lab does not have a function for healing audio separations ??? How can you edit, split or cut in material and not being able to rejoin splits ?

Well, Cleaning Lab treat items on the timeline as one piece divided by track markers. So if you make an edit, lets say you want to insert time into a clip to make it longer: After splitting or cutting adjust the positions of the splits and make sure the CD track marker is at the start of the first. Now Audio Lab reads anything between this marker and to the next as one clip.

Its a bit awkvard when you're used to work in Pro Tools e.g., but it works.

Yeah, MAGIX has a different workflow then other programs, I think more logical in design... Just a learning curve if you are versed in a different application.

Results though, thats where for me the MAGIX software shines the most.
